Ivy bee many of these lovely bees along the Green towards High Town. These are the UKs latest solitary bee in the year and are the only true autumn bee in the UK. Amazingly these beeautiful insects were first described to science only 30 years ago and we are lucky to have large numbers buzzing about and feeding on ivy flowers on the green (Emily Best)
