Love's Copse

At the southern end of the parish is the Love's Lane

byway that leads up the hill from next to Palmer's

Field.  The 2 km walk there provides amazing views

back over the village as well as some very well-

established hedgerow to enjoy.

The woods themselves are mixed with beech, oak,

hazel coppice and mixed conifer plantation.  The

bluebells are epic but there are also many other

woodland flowers to spot while listening to

treecreepers and nutchatches in the trees above.
